The decision of one of the three infamous Jonas Brothers to get engaged with his girlfriend has mixed reactions from their fans around the world.

While, majority of the Jonas Brothers fans expressed joy and support on over the decision of the eldest of the sibling, a number of their loyal followers expressed sadness and surprised over the decision.

The couple meet each other in May 2007 while their families were vacationing in the Bahamas.

The fans who opposed the decision reasoned Kevin should have waited more before deciding to finally settle down with his girlfriend for two years.

After the heart-warming engagement proposal, the parents of the Jonas Brothers Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. immediately issued a statement saying their hearts was filled with joy and are happy to share that their son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage.
